Transforming plastic waste and used car tires to energy

Overview

Plastic waste and thrown away used car tires are critical to health, soil and water contamination.

Since more than ten years, effective processing of almost 90% of the waste plastics and 100% of used car tires was becoming possible because the technology has passed from the theoretical breakpoint to practical application. The pyrolysis as the best emission free gasification process converts plastics as well as used car tires to synthetic fuel and gas to be used in diesel engines for generating electric and thermal energy or simply to be used in cars and trucks as a replacement for gasoil fuel.

The objective of this course is to provide a pragmatic understanding on how to make best use of waste plastics and used car tires for converting pollution to energy generation. However, this course does not offer DIY kits but refers to additional literature and engineering companies who are able to provide such solutions.

The course explains the concept how to build such pyrolysis systems and refers to additional literature and sources for those course participants who would like to go further on engineering and design detail.

Course Audience:

This course is for entrepreneurs and individuals who would like to develop business models around recycling and sustainability.

Learning outcomes:

On successful completion of the course, you will have a good understanding of pyrolysis and how this can be used to develop business using this technique.
