The NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice of Dental Nursing at StarGreenwich Education “SGDU” necessitates on-the-job training, hence a placement at a dental practice is required. It covers all of the GDC Learning Outcomes and National Occupational Standards for Health (NOS). It will allow learners to apply for registration with the GDC once they have completed it. It’s also available in Wales as part of an Advanced Apprenticeship in Health (Dental Nursing). It does not meet the English Apprenticeship Standard. Learners in England should choose the Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice of Dental Nursing if they want to complete the degree as part of the Apprenticeship Standard (Integrated Apprenticeship).
